What you need to know about embroidered clothing

Embroidery is the process when a design – such as your company logo or the name of your company and perhaps the name of the person for whom the garment has been designed – is sewn onto a piece of apparel. In past times of course this was all done by hand, but these days as you’d expect the process is entirely computerised.

By using a computerised system it means your logos and text will look as professionally-rendered as possible, and the embroidery process ensures your logos and text will retain their professional look on all items of your apparel for as long as possible.

All you need to do to kick things off is to supply us with your company logo, plus any other text or designs you’d like incorporating on your workwear, corporate wear or other promotional items. We then manually redraw your logos so they are presented in a format that the computerised embroidery machine can understand.

This conversion process is known as digitisation. It will help you to keep your costs down if you can supply a simplified version of your logo with only a minimal amount of colours and not too much in the way of small text.
